Babies in this classroom have the opportunity to freely explore and experiment their surroundings. We omit the use of swings, bouncers, high chairs and any means of restraint to the babies. The low child/teacher ratio allows teachers to have more direct interaction with the babies and to offer more opportunities for babies' appropriate development.
14 months to 3 years Old
In the toddler community children are strongly encouraged to develop self-control and independence. It's here where the potty training process begins. With positive guidance and as minimal assistance as possible, teachers help children to care for themselves through the diapering/toileting process.
In the Toddler 2 area, confidence and independent learning evolves. The children are encouraged to explore using their imagination, with safe boundaries.
Positive guidance and a sense of security are important to the developmental milestones in the transition from Toddler to Preschool.
